I got tagged by someone, which made me very. :(

LIST THEN THINGS ABOUT YOUR ART THEN TAG TEN PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME. [I'm not going to tag anyone though, haha.]

1. As long as I can remember, while I did draw anime I did take notes of how things move and the realism around me. I believe because of spreading myself out so far out in studying, I haven't improved notably anywhere.

2. When I saw the How to Draw Manga books come out around 2000, I began to loath my style so much I stopped drawing for about a year. Then I got on a crash, broke my wrist, then I started drawing again. Huh. What the hell.

3. With traditional media I cannot draw thin or light pencil lines worth the life of me. The pen lines I seemingly do? A lot of the time, they're not pen, they're actually me pressing down so damn hard on the lead, it's a really old habit I can't shake. I have a literal death grip. My friends I strangled can vouch for me. Because of this if you imagine, I have a hard time shading.

4. My traditional media style is actually unintentional, similar to how I press down on the lead. This includes markers, color pencils, and water colors.

5. I rarely finish my work, unless it’s for assignments and or money. I have hundreds of sketches I never completed, never scan, and never show since I’m so easily disgusted with my work.

6. For the longest time, I drew with a mouse, because of that I think it helped my coordination. Even if I do have two tablets, none of them ever worked with my computer. But due to lack of money [or rather me wanting to spend it] I don’t wish to simply buy a Macintosh yet, even if I adore it so.

7. Speaking of which, digital art wise, I don’t feel comfortable with coloring if it’s not pixel. I don’t like using the dodge and burn, I don’t like using watercolor [maybe because of lack of tablet and control?], and because of my computer having a habit of erroring at the oekaki I mod, I only use PaintBBS. Ironically enough, MSPaint I’ve done my best work in. Someday, I want to get to practicing that again.

8. For the longest time, I wanted to draw a generic anime style, and for the first two years of deviantart, I did. One day I got utterly disgusted with my own work, deleted it all, and have been going on my own way. I got a hilarious comment of how my art style was changing too and how they hated me no longer being the stereotypical mooch to other people.

9. I’m better at drawing animals and monsters than people. Because of me drawing said monsters since a young age, I was put into a class for the emotionally disturbed for three years from third grade to fifth grade. I still think whoever suggested that, was stupid since I’m still feeling like a nervous wreck of going in there.

10. My main inspirations notably in my art style? Are Richard Williams, Yoshitoshi Abe, and the art nouveau movement.

Okay, that's it.
